First let me preface my biased opinion that follows
Fact I own and have read the book
Fact I dramatically increased my knowledge of market technicals after reading this book
Fact Technical indicators were scary to understand and use prior to reading this book
Fact After reading this book I bought Steven Nison A Candlestick Course
Fact After reading this book I bought John Bollinger on Bollinger Bands
Fact I would not know about either of these authors and their WORLD RENOWN work if it were not for James Dicks.
Fact I own Premiere Trade AI-Pro
Fact Though it took about a month to unlearn another major companies more expensive less accurate but Profitable SW (i owned for 18 months before purchasing PT-AI because I needed an Options analysis platform
Fact not only did I get an options analysis platform for the same price as my former platform company wanted to charge me, but I go t the stock analysis for free i got mutual fund analysis for free I got FOREX analysis for free. I got better diagramming scaling etc than I had from e-signal All this for the same low cost of one application of any other trade analysis company
Fact in the long run PremiereTrade cost about 1/4 the cost of any other platform
Fact My stock portfolio immediately became more successful rather than depending on red and green lights and moving averages.

Fact For the last 4 months I have immersed my self in the details that this book brings to the user. As some of these reviews indicate, there is little detail about the FOREX market place written between the covers beyond what is necessary to know.
1) Forex trades >$4 trillion a day
2) there are no market makers to screw you
3) It is a place that offers great wealth potential
4) It is risky with out proper money management and risk reward ratio (other vendors do not talk about this much)
5) The trader must do his or her own do diligence to make sure the trade they put on is a high probability trade through money and risk reward management

What these awesomely bad reviews don't tell the reader is this book does introduce the trader to all these aspects of forex trading. It introduces the reader to candlesticks diagrams bull and bearish formation technical indicators and analysis. If the newbie ever wanted a laymens introductory capture of all aspects a good trader needs for any market place this is the book for them.

The point of the title is that whilst most day, swing and position traders dawdle to find a few out of 40000 securities, a student of forex need only concentrate on the 6 major currency pairs. learn those 6 and become profitable.

This book is a must for the unknowing.

My suggestion is not to buy this book but get it free when you purchase the SW.
You will be buying into a family of traders who came from the platforms that these bad reviews were written by. You will learn that all you need to do in FOREX is make a simple 80 PIPs a week day in and day out, and I can show anyone with that software how to do that using the software.

People that are unsuccessful will likely be those that either have not understood what a trading plan and strategy are and held to it. Or have immediately dove in and tried to use the software and lost their shirts.

FACT: It has taken me 4 months to gain the confidence to stop paper trading and go live 8/1/2006. It took that long to settle into one trading plan through understanding and using the SW.
I will do a follow up post to this in one month to put dollars against this post but in the last three days for the second week in a row I have posted over 100 PIP single lot gains. Doing that week in and week out for a year can make someone a millionaire.

FACT: You will find that James Dicks is an awesome American and philanthropist, he has no need to gouge his customers for additional costs. His company listens to the customer and implements meaningful suggestions within weeks.

The training material available for FREE go so far beyond other product offerings it is hard to explain one must experience. The PT trading community is made up of successful traders who Pay it Forward with their expertise strategies plans and analysis.

FACT: If someone buys this book or the application SW and thinks that the day after reading or opening the box they will be successful. Or more to the point can prove they read any other book or used any other SW application and immediately was profitable over a 3 month period, I want to know what that author and sw is so I can buy it.

FACT: I already did but it took me time to understand the SW not overnight.

It has taken me three to four months to marginally comprehend the dynamics and complexities of FOREX trading. I am now ready to put James Dicks principle to the test. I know I am not going to loose $12000.00 that I did with another red and green light moving average sw, before I became profitable.

If the reader of my review walks away with anything no matter what you choose.

YOU CAN ONLY GET OUT OF _SOMETHING_ WHAT YOU INVEST OF YOURSELF IN THAT _SOMETHING_.

Anyone who does not paper trade a trading plan to Risk Reward Ratio perfection should not be trading any market. THEY WILL LOOSE. Anyone that honestly and prudently applies James Dicks principles will be successful.

You don't have to be WIZE to be profitable
you do owe yourself DUE DILIGENCE to be profitable

This is why no trading SW can guarantee anyone success. You are the only one that can be successful. You owe it to yourself to get the best tools for yourself.

If anyone has had the problems with premiertrade that some of these posts have alluded to Call James up directly. For a multi millionaire he is quite accessible. My impression is that if you have integrity, he will make you happy. He is that kind of man, again, A Great American, and the man that is going to allow me to be the philanthropist I dream to be.

The Best Beginner Forex Book on the Market, a Must Have Book

Being and experienced trader , I read everything I can get my hands on . I was extremely impressed with James Dicks Forex Made Easy . I feel that it is a fountain of knowledge for the beginner trader and can be extremely insightful even to the advanced trader . Right from the start it gets you used to the terminologies that can be so foreign to the newbie trader . Things that advanced traders take for granted are explained in vivid detail so the beginning trader can learn to talk the talk of a trader as the book continues on and teaches him to walk the walk .
I had read the book about a year and a half ago and was so impressed with it that I actually went to the companies headquarters in Orlando Florida to see if the company was for real .
The first thing that impressed me was the companies willingness to show me around . Nothing was hidden , including the trading room . This is a room where James Dicks keeps a battery of traders employed whose sole purpose is to trade his money !
How much more faith can you get in your own system than to put your own money on the line and having people using your own system risking your own money !
This is proof that there is no scamming involved in this company ! They are for real and they put their money where their mouth is .
I was so impressed that I decided to get involved with the company myself , and boy am I glad that I did . The software is borderline amazing . I'm not going to say there is no learning curve and that you will make a million dollars the first month . But if you put your nose to the grindstone and listen to the endless free instruction that comes with the package , success is attainable . From 8 AM in the morning till after midnite they give free over the internet instruction as to how to trade with the PremieretradeAI software . .
I am very impressed with the whole company and now 7 months later , I am still impressed .
To sum it all up , buy the book , and buy the software

Forex Made Easy was Easy and what I was looking for

Just what I was looking for. A entry level book on Forex. This book allowed me to get started and how to pen my first demo account. Well done James. I have moved on and just bought James' new book Forex Trading Secrets. Now that is a reference guide or at least I will use it for that. I love the trading strategies James talks about in the back of the book. The reviews on this book are off the deep end as far as I am concerned seems like a lot of competitors or something. I love the ones that complain about the book being to basic or easy, come on isn't that what the title says. If you are looking for a god starting point in the forex, than I would defiantly recommend this book.

I think all of these negative reviewers are just not smart enough to understand trading currencies. I thought this book was good... I'm not a professional book reviewer or trader like some of these folks claim to be, but I know what I like.... So if you're not one of those types who thinks you already know everything you should check this book out.

Excellent Guide to Trading the Forex Market

I have just finished reading the book from cover to cover. I have traded stocks and futures and I wanted to diversify with currencies. I bought the book and started reading it on a plane ride. It was excellent. There was the compulsary basics and definitions, but then the book went into advanced details on trading strategies, real world applications and honest how to instructions. I was impressed and have decided to start trading. It was also interesting that 3 people stopped me on the plane to ask about the book. I have a positive first impression of the Forex Market and have opened a demo account to practice paper trades as the book suggested.
